My Evening Snack

God has requested of me to go prayer walking in the evenings which I have not been so faithful to do. But just the other evening I decided to follow through and discovered that the blackberry bush I like to visit had some ripe berries waiting for me. It was as though the neighbors had left it alone for me. I felt very blessed.

Precious Memories of Lavender

Besides purple/lavender being my favorite color, I love the scent of lavender and other purple blooms. Lavender is supposed to be soothing and calming. Never really noticed its effect on me that way, but it does bring a sense of well being to me.

I recall a couple occasions in church while still living in Colorado of feeling emotionally out of sorts, when suddenly there came to me the scent of lavender that seemed to come out of nowhere. The only source I could figure was from the throne room of Heaven.

Cleared Head

Last night I had a very stuffy head by the time it hit the pillow. It was hard to breathe and there was no nasal spray in the house to relieve the congestion. I managed to fall off to sleep, however.

Then, around 2 or 3 in the morning I awoke. I think I was lying on my side, when all of the sudden my sinuses cleared up and I was able to breathe freely again. I thought to myself, "I wonder what that was all about."

Then I thought I could hear an answer, "maybe a loving God." That comforting word and tangible manifestation encouraged my faith.
